Não, é uma melodia tradicional irlandesa.. aliás, expressa bem o estereótipos dos irlandeses chegados a um escocês.

Metallica tocando ficou muito bom também, pelo que vi é uma cover da versão de Thin Lizzy. James Hetfield cantando da forma já característica. Gostei.

Muitos fãs do Metallica consideram esta fase da banda o início do fim, pois ela estava perdendo suas raizes trash.
Lembro muito bem dos meus amigos metaleiros da época xingando o Hetfield de cabo a rabo.
Mas a versão do Thin Lizzy é muito mais maneira. E esse protagonista da letra apronta todas mesmo!
